Multi Class Text Classification using Pyspark

  • Classification of San Francisco Crime description into 33 re-defined categories using supervised machine learning algorithms in Spark

Olympic Data Analysis

  • Developing a web-based database application program that allows the user to view and analyze the historic Olympic data
  • The server side of the application is built using Node.js and Express framework
  • The front end is built using AngularJS and the database used is Oracle Database

Human Activity Recognition with Keras and Apple’s Core ML

  • Developed deep neural network machine learning model in Keras to classify the type of human activity (walking, jogging, sitting etc) based on a given set of accelerometer data from a mobile device carried around a person’s waist.
  • Created a Core ML file from Keras using Apple’s coremltools in Python for a multi-dimensional deep neural network (DNN) and tested within a Swift playground.

Forecasting Air Quality Index using Artificial Neural Networks

  • Developed a predictive model to forecast Air Quality Index (AQI) and PM2.5 pollutant concentration in the cities of Houston, Los Angeles, New York City and Delhi by using Artificial Neural Networks such as Feed forward, Cascade forward, Elman, Radial basis function and NARX.
  • Regression algorithms such as Support vector regression and Multiple linear regression with gradient descent variants were also employed.

Bitcoin Simulator

  • Developed web interface using Phoenix framework of Elixir for the simulation of bitcoin protocol with features such as mining, wallets, blockchain, P2P Network, payment processing and bitcoin transaction from a sender to a receiver.

Sign Language Interpreter

  • Developed a windows app under Microsoft Campus Connect Program to interpret the gestures and motions of sign language and display their meaning in the text format.
  • Added an option to hear the meaning of the gestures. Concepts of image processing algorithms are included in the working of the app.
